Venus Flytrap - 'Trev's Red Dentate'

£12.00

About this Cultivator

A really confident grower, with great tall traps, which often have a nice hint of green on the end of the traps.

How Will My Plant Arrive?

You can choose how this arrives, either sent potted in a 6cm pot or sent bare root (you will need suitable potting media ready for this).

This can be chosen during checkout! The cheapest option is bare root.

Care Instructions

Ideal in a unheated greenhouse / polytunnel but can be grown outside and indoors. Requires full sun.

Spring / Summer - Water from the bottom generously with rain water, making sure the plant is always moist from the top but not soggy.

Dormancy - Water less than in summer, making sure the plant is sitting in just a little bit of water, if any, be very careful to not let the top soil get soggy.

Note

These plants are dormant from around Halloween to Valentines Day, you may see some traps die back and reduced growth during this period. However, once spring comes, these plants grow exceptionally quickly.
