Whether it’s your first carnivorous plant or you’re adding another to the collection, our healthy standard Venus Flytraps are available in 2 sizes to suit everyone.
As the pictures show, they really do catch all sorts of insects, making these the perfect natural deterrent against them!

How Will My Plant Arrive?
You can choose how this arrives, either sent potted in a regular 6cm pot or a large (7cm square pot).
Sent either Royal Mail Tracked 24 or 48. Please choose at checkout
Care Instructions
Ideal in a unheated greenhouse / polytunnel but can be grown outside and indoors. Requires full sun.
Spring / Summer - Water from the bottom generously with rain water, making sure the plant is always moist from the top but not soggy.
Dormancy - Water less than in summer, making sure the plant is sitting in just a little bit of water, if any, be very careful to not let the top soil get soggy.
Note
These plants are dormant from around Halloween to Valentines Day, you may see some traps die back and reduced growth during this period. However, once spring comes, these plants grow exceptionally quickly.

Both plants supplied in 7cm square pots
Both plants are well established and ready to settle into their new home.
Care
Both plants enjoy plenty of bright sunlight and can be grown outdoors, on a sunny windowsill, or in an unheated greenhouse or polytunnel.
Water using rainwater, distilled water or reverse osmosis water. Keep the compost moist by standing the pot in a shallow tray of water during the growing season.
Use a suitable carnivorous plant compost and never use normal compost or fertiliser.
The Sarracenia will naturally slow down and enter dormancy during winter. This is completely normal.
Delivery
Your plants will arrive already potted in their 7cm square pots and will be carefully packaged to protect them during delivery.
As these are living plants, their size and appearance may vary slightly depending on the time of year.
Easy tropical pitcher plant – beginner friendly
Nepenthes Alata × ventrata is tough, fast-growing, and perfect for indoor growing. It produces long, attractive pitchers as it matures, making it a fascinating addition to any plant collection.
Plant info & care:
Healthy, well-rooted, and ready to thrive. Juvenile plants may not have full pitchers yet, but with bright, indirect light they’ll start forming soon. Keep soil consistently moist with rainwater or RO water — never tap water. Provide medium to high humidity and avoid drafts or cold temperatures. Feed occasionally with small insects or dilute orchid fertilizer during the growing season to encourage strong growth. Each plant is unique.

About this Cultivator
Sarracenia ‘Fiona’ is a stunning hybrid known for its colourful upright pitchers and vigorous growth. Producing attractive pitchers throughout the growing season, it’s an excellent choice for both beginners and experienced carnivorous plant collectors.
