How Will My Plant Arrive?

You can choose how this arrives, either sent potted in a regular 6cm pot or a large (7cm square pot).

Ideal in a unheated greenhouse / polytunnel but can be grown outside and indoors. Requires full sun

Spring / Summer - Water from the bottom generously with rain water, making sure the plant is always moist from the top but not soggy.

About this Cultivator

Sarracenia 'Very White Top' is a striking pitcher plant known for the strong white colouring towards the top of its pitchers. As the plant matures and receives plenty of light, the contrast between the white upper section and the greener lower part becomes more pronounced.

Use a suitable carnivorous plant compost and never use normal compost or fertiliser.

The Sarracenia & Venus Flytrap will naturally slow down and enter dormancy during winter. This is completely normal, and the sundew will die down to its roots over winter where growth will emerge in the spring (does not apply if grown inside)
